Contractors & Vendors Watch

We can ensure your vendors have supervised access to your home while performing work.
With our construction experience, we can observe that the work is performed correctly. We will provide you with details and pictures of the work and will let you know when it’s acceptable to complete payment for the work. When they are done, we will secure your home.

Coordinate Furniture/Appliance Deliveries

Having an order for furniture or an appliance delivered while you’re away we can coordinate for you. You send us the information about your delivery, and we will coordinate opening your home and making sure items delivered are placed by your direction.  We will check for damaged or unacceptable items and observe during delivery if any damage occurs to your home. When the delivery is complete, we will make sure your home is secure.

Arrival Services

• Turn on water supply (if desired)
• Turn on hot water heater
• Run water throughout the house
• Turn on Ice maker in refrigerator
• Plug in Garage Door Opener and unsecure Garage Door
• Remove battery charger from cars / carts (if desired)
• Start car and run for few minutes (if desired)
• Plug in all appliances
• Remove any added light timers
• Adjust home temperature settings accordingly
• Restore backyard furniture
• Stock refrigerator / pantry (if desired)
• Coordinate house cleaning (if desired)
• Coordinate window cleaning (if desired)
• Wash / Vacuum car (if desired)

Departure Services

• Inspect and secure home windows and doors
• Set up a humidistat for monitoring humidity levels
• Set home temperature settings
• Turn off the water supply (if desired)
• Set hot water heater to AWAY
• Inspect the kitchen and remove trash/perishables from the refrigerator
• Turn off the Ice maker in the refrigerator
• Unplug Garage Door Opener / Secure Garage Door
• Vehicle/Golf Cart battery charger (if desired)
• Install standalone fan in the garage (if desired)
• Unplug unnecessary appliances
• Ensure all lights are off, except lights on timers
• Set up light timers (if desired)

• Hurricane Preparedness

When maintenance is required, based on our observation, we will provide recommendations on necessary repairs to maintain your home. We can work with your vendor or recommend a contractor we trust who will offer a reasonable price for the work they need to perform and do the maintenance or repair correctly for you.

Hurricane season is June 1^st through November 30^th. Hurricanes are unpredictable and can change direction, leaving little to no time to prepare. Prior to your departure, we will create a plan with you for your home, so while you’re gone, if a hurricane does arrive, you have peace of mind that your home is as ready as it can be. We provide photos of your home exterior and interior for documentation for your insurance provider. After the hurricane passes, we will provide a post-storm check of your home and inform you of any damage.

Grocery Shopping

Prior to your arrival, we can help you stock your pantry and refrigerator with your favorite foods and drinks. We can shop at your favorite stores and will deliver and put away any of your ordered items.

Mail Delivery & Pickup

We can be there to accept deliveries or place your packages inside your home. We can mail packages according to your specifications. We can also text you pictures of delivered items and open them only at your request.

Mail Collection and Organization

We collect your mail and will only inform you of items you identified as important. We can send you a photo to review the items and we can mail it to where you are. All mail collected will be held in a secure place until your return.

Relax and enjoy the ride. We can help coordinate a livery service for you when you depart from your home and arrive at the airport. This saves you the hassle of procuring or waiting for a ride service. Your home will be made ready for you to enjoy the moment you open your front door.

We can coordinate having your home cleaned regularly while you’re away. We can also coordinate having your home cleaned and organized before your arrival, so you can enjoy it as soon as you arrive.
